Review on 🚪 Dorman 38641 Tailgate Hinge Bushing: Perfect Fit for Dodge, Ford, and Lincoln Models by Edward Mcnamara

I used this kit on my '97 Ford Ranger. One of my original bushings was worn out and the other was missing completely. This set fit and worked perfectly. Easy installation. Maybe 5 minutes total to get the job done. I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews for this product. The Dorman replacement hub is just as reliable as the original Ford hub. I suspect people just smash them in place, causing them to break. I installed mine by pressing down on it with my fingers and with my other hand squeezing the little tabs and snapping them into place. Simple as can be. Now the tailgate no longer rattles, opens and closes gently, now snaps in on both sides.
