Be careful with these bits, they can work well in shallow holes, but I drilled 1.25" holes in aluminum, 1/8 deep each, turned them out and the Drill cleaned. and after lubricating with WD40 it had two broken bits which are almost at the end of the whole which means having to work on the hole with about an inch spare bit. There will never be a problem with titanium drill bits for port cargo. Although they're sharp and cut aluminum like butter, they're brittle and if they bite off more than they can chew, your piece will break. So I would use them for shallow holes, never more than an inch at that thickness.
