My 2014 BMW X3 is in excellent condition after replacing the deteriorating plastic armrest handle. It is amazing that my BMW dealer wanted to replace the entire door panel for $900-$1000 because they thought I would do it to keep my car in top condition. I always buy everything I need to service my car at discount prices and this one is awesome. This replaced the old armrest button which literally rotted in place - I'm guessing it's low quality plastic that hasn't suffered UV or thermal wear and tear. What really sucks is that the dealer never offered an aftermarket alternative to my problem. They just weren't interested in running my business. Nothing fancy here - $20 5 minute repair vs. $1000 door panel.
