Review on Robinair 10596 Dial Thermometer 160°F by Michael Cooper

Thermometer deflected 8 degrees. I tested this on two other thermometers that are extremely accurate (and expensive) and also on a laser thermometer. All 3 test thermometers were within 1/2 degree of each other. waste of money. Updating the review for the following reasons: I don't know why the manufacturer doesn't indicate that the thermometer can be adjusted. There is a hex nut behind the dial. I grabbed the nut with pliers and slightly rotated the dial. It's not that easy (the dial fits quite well), but I managed to align the thermometer correctly. The scale is small but I have it so now it shows accurately. I give 3 stars because I didn't have to align the thermometer, it had to be done at the factory.
