It took me 25 minutes to get this thing to pump lube. Bleeder valve, slightly unscrew the head, push the plunger while pumping. I almost gave up and then it magically started working. Okay, okay, I'm deluding myself. Then I connected the hose fitting to the 1st circus on my John Deere deck. It took a little pressure to tighten, pumped twice to fill the spindle and then the hose wouldn't let go. General. Took it off and tried another circus on the same deck. The same thing. Never had a problem with a grease gun before. Update: Mfg sent in a new clutch that only worked a little better. It's still very, very difficult to remove a cubic zirconia setting. Also, the company is now trying to get me to delete my review by offering me money. No way. I'd rather not list the cost of the item and hopefully save someone else the hassle of buying junk.
