What to look out for in this case. $8 for a decent case! Fan and heatsink included. In the package instructions, apply positive pressure (airflow) to the board. Due to the construction of the case (despite the ventilated front), heat simply floats inside the case. Luckily they thought of that and provided a fan that can be placed either way. So reverse the position of the fan, and now we have negative pressure (pulling heat out of the case, in other words, drawing air out of the case). Otherwise, the cutouts and access to the microsd card are great. Holes near the fan allow for routing of ribbon cables. That means if you have such things, you can use them. My only minor nitpick would be that there should be a locked "door" for the GPIO headers as an extra layer of protection. Now all I have to do is wait for the micro HDMI to HDMI cables and then I can start a small project.
