Overall, the sound is very good considering the cost. I had to hunt for a replacement for my X-Fi Xtreme Music because I was switching to a new platform without PCI slots. Overall, not horrible, you can live, but there aren't as many opportunities as there should be. Its advantages include: - Low cost; - Clear sound; - Separate headphone output; - The driver is mounted without tambourine dance. - The capability of replacing the operational amplifier fast. has drawbacks Strange architectural solutions; sound output through ASIO muffles other sounds; intermittent audio pauses when using ASIO; quiet sound in games and when using DirectSound and possibly also ASIO (Tested on Windows 10 x64 LTSC, correct in the comments if everything is in order on another OS version); (USB codec is installed on the board via USB PCIe controller).
