You can get pretty decent pictures with this microscope if you have the patience to set it up and focus it. There's a very annoying lag when you're either moving it or trying to focus it. IE when you move or focus it there is a delay before you see the results. It's time consuming and frustrating to get a decent image. Sometimes it helps if you close and restart the program. Another problem is the inability to control the intensity of the LEDs that illuminate your subject. After using several different dimmable microscopes, I've found that sometimes you can see better by dimming or even turning off the light. "Digital Microscope Suite 2.0" is pretty good. You can measure the dimensions of your subject, but they're only accurate if the microscope is directly over them. It captures video fairly well when properly focused.
