Review on Elevate Your Comfort with the Microsoft πŸ’» Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop Keyboard and Mouse L5V-00001 by Duong Mac Anh Quan ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the quality is good, the price is reasonable.

- Great keyboard for people trained in touch typing. Only for typing with two hands, one will not be comfortable due to the relative removal of the left and right parts and due to the non-flatness of the surface (the height of the keyboard gradually rises towards the center on both sides). - A mouse for working on a table (it will not fit on a shelf under the table in height) and not for every hand. - Clean the keyboard only with napkins and microfiber, without using sprays (my mistake). I treated the first clave without bothering with a spray and wiped it (like all the previous ones) - it died in a month. I bought a second one - it has been alive for a year (I wipe it with fiber). - For a year of constant printing (8 hours 5 days a week), the keys are wiped, but the markers (tubercles) on F (A) and J (O) are still holding. Although it has already worn off notably on F - it will probably last another half a year.

Pros
  • - Ergonomic. The hands do not curve outward relative to the forearm. When working, the joints stopped hurting (lifting) after switching from a standard design keyboard. - Built-in palm rest. Hands are more relaxed compared to working without a stand. The material is hard on the outside with medium-hard padding on the inside (it doesn't sag in the hands like a wrist pad on some mouse pads, but it doesn't feel stiff like plastic pads either). Sufficiently easily soiled, but quickly and well cleaned with a damp cloth. I clean every day. - The keys are large enough with a comfortable degree of pressing (you always feel when the pressing has passed). - Many people criticize the function keys and ESC for being different from the rest (smaller in height and harder to press with a perfectly distinguishable click). But I really liked it. You always feel that you are pressing the functionality, and not the number row (for example, when closing applications and windows: alt + f4) or you press ESC, and not ~. - excellent space keys: large and made separately for the right and left hands.
Cons
  • - The mouse did not fit: it is very large and you need a pad with a wrist rest for work, otherwise the joint hurts terribly after a working day. - mouse does not have smooth horizontal scrolling (useful for excel). I continue to use Philips with an optical sensor instead of the middle button. - The distance between the keys and the keyboard keys themselves are slightly larger than on my last compact keyboard. It took a couple of weeks to get used to. - Keyboard size and mouse height. Not all retractable computer desk shelves will fit.

With its pros. A separate digital block - for those who do not use it much, and because of this - a compact keyboard. Its cons: The fixed Fn switch is a fail, definitely. The Fn buttons become useless - you can't switch.

Has pros: Excellent clave. Qualitatively. Ergonomically. There was an immediate sense of relief. Programmer. The mouse is great. Got cons: The gap is a bit sloppy. I wanted smoother keys.
