Review on Elevate Your Comfort with the Microsoft πŸ’» Sculpt Ergonomic Wireless Desktop Keyboard and Mouse L5V-00001 by Somchai Kittisak ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not all that bad, but there are minuses.

Judging by what I have at home, at least two versions of such a keyboard were produced (there is also the next generation, gray, but now we are not talking about it): the previous one, without a battery status indicator, and the next one with an indicator. The first version is good, the second one is very difficult for me to use, it is clearly not finalized.

Pros
  • - Both versions of the keyboard are equally comfortable for fast typing, especially touch. Yes, the keys F1-F12 and others from the top row are terrible, but you can get used to it. As well as to the unusual arrangement of some service keys. - The number block is detachable, after which the mouse can be placed next to the text part of the keyboard, and then transferring the hand from the mouse to the keyboard and back takes a very short time, which speeds up the work. - The mouse is correct, and is especially convenient with a gel pad under the wrist. I have never felt any strain or pain in my wrist with her.
Cons
  • - The receiver had to be put on an extension cord 20 cm from the keyboard; does not finish even a meter, especially if the batteries are no longer new. - The mouse peels off in about a year, especially under the thumb, where the frequently pressed "back" button is located. As is often the case with polymers, grease from the skin of the hands (and normal healthy skin is always covered with a thin layer of fat) dissolves the plastic in about a year. However, the mouse with the soft touch rubber torn off remains quite comfortable, although it looks like a shot Terminator, and hard-to-remove grease and dust clog into the exposed cracks (see photo). The lining on the keyboard is made of a different material and is wiped only by purely mechanical influences in 3-4 years (see photo). - While the battery status indicator is on, on several PCs with different OSes that I have tested, the keyboard sometimes skips events, so both a large piece of text and a key release event can be missed, and then the same character will be typed several times. Since the keyboard "falls asleep" sometimes quite quickly and according to a law I do not understand (for example, sometimes for some reason it does not fall asleep for a long time), and this time is not regulated in any way, I constantly have to check if the battery status indicator is on, and what happens with the text . This simply makes comfortable work with such a keyboard impossible, at least on some PCs.

Too expensive for a disposable device

Has some pros Excellent keyboard and mouse response. Separate digital panel. The mice are in great shape. The keyboard cushion is very comfortable. Some cons: Dimensions. Under the keyboard you need the right fit.

Its pros: Appearance, workmanship. Cons: Not a standard layout and design, and could not get used to it. A separate digital block is an unfortunate solution - it is "lost" on the table.
