review of the guy here; I'm surprised how much work it took to find a good plastic whistle. I ordered 17 of these boxes (36 each) and they are all shipped separately which is odd but nonetheless. The flutes look good and are made of very clear plastic. Not super thick, but not thin either. The golden frame is also good. There is a visible seam from the casting process but that is to be expected. Don't be a diva and expect hand-cut crystal to become a cheap plastic flute (like some of the other reviewers). I tried filling one from the bottle to see if it would fall over but it wouldn't even budge and once filled surprisingly evenly. We used them for outdoor popups and I didn't want them to fall over after filling. I washed one to see if it was dull or scratched. and not yet. But if you use a cleaning brush or a sponge with a scouring pad, it will scratch. apparently.
