We tried 3 other collars before finding this one for our little 15 lb Maltipu. He rarely barks at neighbors or critters walking about HIS yard, usually late in the evening or at night. It's unpredictable, surprising, annoying, and totally undesirable. Other collars we tried looked bulky, oversized and uncomfortable for a small dog. Our dog will immediately stop barking with a warning beep and will likely burst out of his intestines if the collar vibrates or, God forbid, shocks him. This collar is a great size for our small dog and seems to fit comfortably. Programming was much easier for me than for others. I appreciate that it has varying intensities, but it works very well on the lowest settings with our dog, who needs minimal correction.
