Broke after 30 minutes but cat loves it

My cat absolutely loves her face brushed so this purchase was a win in her eyes. However, she is 11 pounds and broke this 30 minutes into using it. The pictures show the bottom cracked under where both the posts are, and it now lays to one side. The only reason I am not returning it is because she still really enjoys having this to rub her face on and scratch the bottom; she also likes to bite the bristles. I would only recommend if it's on sale for under $8, it is not worth much more than that.
