This purchase turned out to be a good choice. I recently finished two very complex windows with this saw, one with 250 small parts and one with 400+ parts. Make no mistake, there is a learning curve. There is no substitute for practicing with a saw. The more you use it, the better you become. I could make very precise and very complex cuts that would not have been possible with traditional cutting methods, but it took practice. This saw comes with a "Mega" Gemini blade. After cutting over 600 pieces of glass, the blade shows no significant signs of wear. It's a good thing that a replacement blade isn't cheap. This saw is ideal for complex curved cuts. I wouldn't recommend it for long, straight cuts that are best made with traditional glass cutters. Installation is easy and use is uncomplicated. It is important to change the water regularly. The best I can say is that I have enjoyed using this saw. This enabled cuts that would have been difficult or impossible using traditional methods.
