What a drink! on power and hand tools

I bought this for stained glass. This is an excellent saw. Works better than I thought. It is easy to cut, easy to clean, and when there is no water in it, it is easy to move. A GREAT DEAL: If you're buying this glass cutting saw and need a multi-directional saw, it should come with a standard blade, not a mega blade. Make sure you know what you are getting from the retailer. Suggest calling them to make sure you get what you order.

Engine failed the first time it was used

I bought this saw for my wife in March 2013 but she did not use it until two days ago on June 27th 2017. The period of inactivity should not have affected the saw. Much to my wife's chagrin, the engine failed after about two hours of operation. The cost of a new engine is about $157. We have contacted the manufacturer but have not yet received a response from them. This may be an accident but I wanted buyers to be aware of the error.

A very good quality. in Power & Hand Tools

I'm just starting out with stained glass and thought it would make it easier to cut curved pieces. Did the first part and was impressed with how easy it was to set up and use. It squirts water when cutting large pieces and has a learning curve, but with a little practice cutting it will work. I plan to try a different blade style to see if the edges can be smoother. It would be nice if they made a deal to order a second blade with a saw and a small discount on it if bought as a set. Overall I'm

exceptional glass saw

, this is a fantastic machine that allows you to create complex shapes. The stained glass I'm showing was made in a matter of hours. However, do not give up the traditional method, which allows you to drive faster and more accurately on straight lines. the blade is fragile. really fragile and scary price. I found where I can buy much cheaper. Don't force the cut and be patient, remember how long it usually takes! A small comment that might be of interest to Europeans. I had to buy a 220v…

Also, the new accessories look pretty cute. Benefits

I have an older Taurus hole saw and needed a second one for a big project. Also, the new equipment seemed pretty nice. Pros: Quieter than my first Taurus and faster. As if the motor were separated from the water bath. Cons: Came with a deformed gray lid. They replaced which I appreciate. Second, with larger pieces of broken glass, water splashes everywhere. I have towels everywhere to protect the rest of my studio. Third, the blade and strap broke after 5 hours of use. I've had the first one…

Works as advertised

Overall a good addition to my stained glass tool collection. Cutting pieces of glass takes practice, so practice on cheap glass before trying it on a project. The saw is a bit noisy, otherwise there are no complaints. The best way to cut out a complex piece is to trace the shape you want onto cardstock and glue it to the jar on both sides of the cardstock using Elmer's glue. Let it dry before you start cutting. As a general rule, I've found that pushing the glass into the bandsaw is better than

Great Hole Saw!: Hand Tool

This is my first hole saw. For those of us who are used to using a bandsaw, it will take a little practice to learn to go around the blade instead of just pulling vertically. Weighing just under 10 pounds and barely 18 inches wide, it fits nicely on my kitchen counter next to my coffee grinder. The customer service representative (Barbara) is wonderful and incredibly patient. Use 1 gallon of water to reach the center of the bottom blue wheel (see page 5 - bottom of the Unwrapping Machine…

Fantastic product well worth the money.

This purchase turned out to be a good choice. I recently finished two very complex windows with this saw, one with 250 small parts and one with 400+ parts. Make no mistake, there is a learning curve. There is no substitute for practicing with a saw. The more you use it, the better you become. I could make very precise and very complex cuts that would not have been possible with traditional cutting methods, but it took practice. This saw comes with a "Mega" Gemini blade. After cutting over 600…

Not cheap but very effective.

I was afraid to spend money on this tool, especially after reading several reviews, but I was convinced by the large number of positive reviews. I've used this saw extensively on my last 4 projects and I really like it. It's easy to cut complex parts with it. I will use this whenever I need to include details that need a specific and precise shape. Cons: The rotation of the blade throws water onto the protective screen, making the cutting lines difficult to see. The light in my saw flickers and
