Review on πŸ’ Taurus 3 Diamond Ring Saw by Gemini by Kenneth Barnes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works as advertised

Overall a good addition to my stained glass tool collection. Cutting pieces of glass takes practice, so practice on cheap glass before trying it on a project. The saw is a bit noisy, otherwise there are no complaints. The best way to cut out a complex piece is to trace the shape you want onto cardstock and glue it to the jar on both sides of the cardstock using Elmer's glue. Let it dry before you start cutting. As a general rule, I've found that pushing the glass into the bandsaw is better than pulling it through. Slightly better control. The saw is also very useful for cutting glass shavings from areas of the mold otherwise inaccessible to the grinder. In this case, I've found that using a silver marker and covering it with a lipstick keeps the marker visible during the shaving process.
