This is my first hole saw. For those of us who are used to using a bandsaw, it will take a little practice to learn to go around the blade instead of just pulling vertically. Weighing just under 10 pounds and barely 18 inches wide, it fits nicely on my kitchen counter next to my coffee grinder. The customer service representative (Barbara) is wonderful and incredibly patient. Use 1 gallon of water to reach the center of the bottom blue wheel (see page 5 - bottom of the Unwrapping Machine column). When it comes out of the box it is in its lowest position. I loosened the side Phillips screw and lifted it as high as I could, then tightened enough that the blade was showing and there was room to move the glass around the blade. (see page 10)
