Used hard drive. Heavily used.
Ryze Systems sent me a drive that SMART reports has over one million hours of use. That's almost the same number of discs I take out and throw away. Worse, this drive has over a billion read errors, and the drives I remove haven't had more than 2000. If I'd bothered to read the reviews, I wouldn't have bought it at all.
