Many of my projects require screws. I don't use pocket hole carpentry that often, but this is a great tool if you use pocket holes. However, I also use this drill bit for all my countersinking needs. Drilling the screws deep enough into the shank allows me to plug the holes with dowels (cut from foam brushes) and avoid using wood putty or the infamous sawdust and glue mix, which is far from ideal if you plan on painting afterward the job is done. to build. This bit comes loose and falls out of my drill chuck quite often, but I suspect it's because I need to replace my drill bit. All in all, this is a great item to have in your toolbox if detailed aesthetics are important in your projects.
