This powered hub was bought because I wanted somewhere to reduce all my USB charging cables to one unit when I'm working from home. This is the perfect charging station for all my USB powered devices. It features 10 charging ports and each has its own power switch so the power can be turned off when not in use. With all the USB products on the table, each requiring its own block and cable, the outlets on my power strip are blocked. This is handy because I can connect devices instantly and don't have to keep an eye out for every single clumsy charging pad. I also like that I can plug it into an outlet or computer to charge, but I've found it's best to use 12v wall power since I have a fan and ring light that draw power from the USB get a connection. If I have to say that the device was negative, I would say that the blue lights of the charging ports that are on are quite bright. I was able to fix this by placing the device under my bedside table after all the cables were connected.
