LED lighting makes all ports appear always on

I bought this because I needed a clear indication that my mic and camera were on during meetings. The problem is that the blue indicator LEDs next to each USB port are not isolated in any way. As a result, blue color seeps into nearby displays and the USB ports themselves. As a result, everything glows blue when a USB port is powered on. There's also a random blue LED inside that's always lit when it's on, but there's no room for a power indicator. There's no hole cut out anywhere to show that power LED, so it just stays lit on the top USB connector. Finally, I cycle USB ports throughout the day to make sure they're off, since the buttons themselves are the only real way to make sure the port is on or off. All in all it's well done. It does what it's supposed to do: It behaves like a USB hub with ports that can be switched on and off individually. The only real downside is that LEDs are basically useless unless you open them up and add your own barriers between them.
