Review on πŸ’½ Universal 9.5mm SATA Hard Drive Caddy Tray for Laptop CD/DVD-ROM - Enclosure Case for HDD and SSD in Optical Bay Drive Slot by Gina Moore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Only one PCB offset adapter for SSD is used.

I ended up just using the circuit board because it didn't fit my new HP laptop. But I expected this to be the case and used velcro branded glue to hold the drive in place. I installed an SSD, not a mechanical drive. I couldn't find any holes that matched this device and the metal was sticking out over some of the circuitry. I would use the metal part if possible. But I'm still satisfied because the PCB adapter fits very well. I just needed to find a way to protect the SSD and I did. I disassembled this adapter and redesigned the components so nothing was wasted. Check out my HP laptop review I wrote on September 6th, 2016 in the 5 Star Reviews section. You must click View All Reviews as I received this computer through the Revain Vine program. So even though I got this laptop directly from Revain, it wasn't listed as a verified purchase. So my detailed review is crammed with people who probably don't even own this computer and those who just have stupid opinions. It's not fair that Revain Vine reviewers should be treated this way, but I don't make the rules. I still get so-called free items and continue to write detailed, unbiased reviews despite no one trying to click the "All Reviews" button. It's not free either. Revain reports this to the IRS annually as self-employment income. So self-employed social tax alone is 15.3% and I have to pay income tax regardless of what tax amount Revain assesses. So that's over 30% of the taxable value plus I have to write a mandatory review that passes their review. Sometimes they reject my review and I have to rewrite it according to their standards. It doesn't happen very often, but if I'm too harsh with a review, it gets rejected. sorry for the edit. house corn. If you need further help, please feel free to contact me. I'm pretty good at things like that. I seem to be constantly upgrading and giving away computers. It's a very inexpensive laptop and I'm thinking about maybe buying the next version. I already had several replacement SSDs so the upgrade cost was minimal. I bought an 8GB RAM stick to upgrade to 8GB. This particular model sits at 8GB from what I've read. I will be selling the 4GB of RAM that came with the computer to help offset the cost a bit.
