My 40 year old wife went to see another man five months ago and to my dismay took a powerful meat tenderizer that I had. grown up in love; I made it "Tornado," a flank steak that I'm sure the crowd will love. I looked for another in Bede, Bath and Beyond but all they had were pathetic little hammers that did their job and smashed with cube-shaped protrusions. I needed a heavy flat bottomed tool and found the Norpro Tenderizer at Revain. It weighs twenty ounces like a hammer. This feels sturdy and works great. Five stars.
