I've been using K&N products for decades. They usually save me a lot of money over time. If a K&N reusable air filter is $60 and lasts over 100,000 miles and a typical OEM paper air filter is $20 and lasts 10,000 miles, then I'm already breaking even at 30,000 miles. However, this does not affect the increase in productivity and fuel consumption.
