I ordered an air filter for a 2012 Prius C. When it arrived it was twice the size of my 2012 Prius C so I'll be returning it. K&N cannot make an air filter for a 2012 Prius C.

This is the third car I have installed a K&N filter in. They improve gas mileage and performance almost immediately. It takes the computer about a couple of miles to adjust the air/fuel mixture. They don't need to be cleaned but once a year which is a little tricky and I recommend using their cleaning kit.

I cannot recommend this product enough. K&N has always been a great product. The first thing I put in every car. Why spend money on disposable filters when you can get a permanent filter that will pay for itself in a short period of time? In my experience with them, you get better throttle response and some boot MPG. on the fence? Get one.

I love these because I have a Prius hybrid. Cars don't have enough traction to get out of traffic. It really helps to move a little more in these kinds of situations. Noticeable difference! You just have to remember when you are servicing the car that you don't touch the filter, otherwise you throw it away and they are washable and can be reused for a long time.

I've been using K&N products for decades. They usually save me a lot of money over time. If a K&N reusable air filter is $60 and lasts over 100,000 miles and a typical OEM paper air filter is $20 and lasts 10,000 miles, then I'm already breaking even at 30,000 miles. However, this does not affect the increase in productivity and fuel consumption.

received my filter quickly with no damage, the packaging was clean and solid as new when I bought it in store. Installed 2 months ago and the filter works fine, no problems with the sensors, no problems with the engine. It's improved my fuel efficiency, improved my torque at 4000rpm, and at low revs it's more stable and quieter! and made my engine sound better than before. Very happy with this filter

I've always loved K&N filters, to say the least. I have a 1092 on the odometer on my 2016 Prius and the mileage is 57.5mpg; I've driven 205.3 miles with this K&N air filter and the mileage is 58.3mpg; still waiting for big savings. The K&N air filter claims to need cleaning after 50,000 miles but does not need to be replaced. I wonder if it will outlive my Prius? If I used a factory air filter, how often would I replace it, but only a K&N air filter? I am now completely satisfied.

later This should be an economical air filter as it is refilled with oil. It is also intended to prevent premature engine wear from flying particles on their way to the manifold. This filter lets that debris fly by. With use and after some testing, no performance gain was noticed. I really wish I could just buy a Purolator filter to start with. I bought this K&N for a 2014 Prius C (it currently has just over 31,000 miles). MPG: It was bought and installed in 05/2016. I keep very accurate logs of gas consumption per full tank. This filter did not help at all. Not even 1mpg. You can see it has shrunk a bit. My trips are exactly the same. I only use this car for commuting to and from work.
