Review on 🔌 Enhanced HDMI Converter Modulator: Upgraded Transmitter for Older Devices by Eddie Curd

I was very skeptical about this product at first due to the low number of reviews/bad reviews. However, I decided to give it a try anyway and I'm glad I did! My goal was to turn an old 13" Newtech CRT with no AV connections into an extra monitor for my PC. So I connected the converter, turned it on (before turning on the PC - an important tip in the manual), connected the HDMI cable from my PC to the converter, turned on the old TV, switched to channel 3 (the channel 3) for everyone external audio/video devices) and the screen was scanned at high speed, rendering it unusable. I then simply used the 'SYS' button on the converter remote to change the output from 'PAL-DK' to 'NTSC-M' (for North American TVs) and my desktop was beautiful and clearly visible. uses the "MODE" button to toggle the display to "BRIGHT" to reduce the dimming effect exhibited by many older CRTs. I then dragged the VLC player from one of my other monitors to the CRT, set the aspect ratio to 4:3, and now I can play the video on the CRT in a nice retro style. I am very happy with this product and it has saved me from settling for a less attractive CRT with AV connections. My only complaint is that the power cord for the converter is too short, meaning I have to make an extension cord to make it work with my setup. But come on, that's a small price to pay for turning a cool old TV into a PC monitor.
