Review on Protecting with Style: Jeacent Window Air Conditioner Cover Large, Enhanced Bottom Coverage by Eric Dubreuil

I bought this cover because it was highly rated, and they claimed it would fit "most 12k to 15k btu AC's". I have a 13k btu unit and the cover I received was almost twice as large as the unit. I didn't return it because I thought I could make it work. I was wrong. I put it on as best I could and tightened the straps as much as possible. And I installed foam side panels. A few weeks later, one of the straps had fallen off. I put it back on as tightly as possible. Since the winter started, the room the unit is in has been ice cold. And when I went out to take the photo for this review I noticed the second strap had fallen off again. I'm not sure if a smaller cover would have provided better thermal protection, but the straps shouldn't randomly fall off. I plan to replace this cover with one from a different manufacturer next winter.
