With our RV renovations, we are also trying to figure out the best way to utilize space since we full-time. One trick we've found is to use up as much wall space as you can but also you don't want it to look bad. We picked this up so that we could free up the little bit of space that the knives were previously taking up. This is exactly what we needed and it's great quality as well!We initially attempted to mount this via the adhesive backing and perhaps it's our type of walls but it wouldn't stick. Ultimately we chose to just use the provided hardware. We wanted to avoid putting holes in the wall but we also understand the importance of not having knives fall off of the wall unexpectedly. This has very strong magnetic abilities and you don't have to worry about anything falling off of it once it is installed. Super convenient as well!
