Connected to the USB2 port, works perfectly. But that's not the goal

I went with no chance for this function. Connected to the USB2 port, works perfectly. But that's not the goal. On the USB3 port it stops working (missing) when transferring files. It doesn't seem to support high data transfer rates with my computer. I have the same problem on another PC. So now I will try to understand this problem.

Pros

Supports 5.4 Gbps (HBR2), 2.7 Gbps (HBR) and 1.62 Gbps (RBR) data rates

Cons

Could have chosen a newer model
