It doesn't seem to matter what brand you use, these head gaskets wear out every few years on these engines. This fitted perfectly, was tightened per service recommendations and works great. I no longer even adjust the valves on these engines without first replacing the head gasket. I do this about every 3 years as part of my regular maintenance. Valves set too far lead to premature wear of the cylinder head gasket. So does overheating (which often happens when mice build nests under the engine cover).
