Worked but then had a very nasty crash. I bought this a few years ago to connect a sprinkler controller that only had an ethernet port. During this time I did a good job. A week ago I had random dives where I couldn't connect to the network. After much research I narrowed down the problem to this adapter. Devices that were successful received IP addresses on the wrong subnet. I checked my router's DHCP settings and made sure it wasn't supposed to be giving out the wrong subnet. Long story short, this adapter was acting like a malicious DHCP server, handing out IP addresses on the wrong subnet! Luckily I have network knowledge and was able to track down the problem. Too bad for ordinary users with such a problem. And what about the price? It's overpriced for what's available at the time of this review.
