Review on πŸš€ Superior Performance Fractional Self Starting Step Drill 10235: Achieve High-Speed Efficiency by John Rocha

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It rotates, does not drill to the specified diameter, overheats the place where the metal is drilled. Overheating of the cables will result in a shutdown.

Purchased to drill stainless steel sinks for extra filtered faucets. Previously, a smaller pitch drill and hole punch were used. Finally used Irwin Unibit #5 in a project. After drilling the starting hole with a smaller Milwaukee step bit, an attempt was made to open the hole to 1-1/4 inch with an Irwin Unibit. The Irwin Unibit just flipped it around and got the metal around the starting hole so hot that touching the metal area burned my finger. Continued drilling until my hard drill bit overheated and stalled. Asked a friend to drill a hole with his Milwaukee step drill. Attempt to return Unibit. Revain refused because the claim was made more than 30 days after delivery. Shocked that Revain supplies a poor quality product and refuses to return Irwin Tools Unibit #5 1/4" to 1-3/8" Step Drill Bit, 1/2" Shank (10235).
