Not bad for the price when I first bought it for 80 the price has now gone up to 100 per ml what that means that it has to withstand 200 tar per liter. I've cast about 32 different parts with this resin, they all used R&R plastic as an investment, and it took me 2-2.5 liters total. I had pits and inclusions in almost all of them, some to the point where it would ruin the piece. But the parameters of the burnout process have been changed to improve the results. My piece is very organic and delicate so this is a rigorous test of this wax's capabilities. My last episode actually came out pretty good. The changes that led to this were that I kept my burnout at 1480f at 260m and also slowed down my acceleration rate drastically and regularly opened the furnace and blew in pure oxygen. The results I had were actually pretty good at the time but there was still some ash and ash residue and a few and I would say 2 out of 6 were scraps. I'm doing a dry run right now with a piece of Ifuns Resin 1 Flask Formlabs and 1 Flask Blue Cast. This time I added some supply lines to my kiln that connect to in-line piston pumps to force a small amount of fresh air to multiple locations in the kiln to increase burnout time. I can control the quality a bit. On the print side, this worked with a shutter speed of 14s on my Photon Zero and 4s on my Photon Mono. All models tested were fully post-cured and cast at a piston temperature of 1150ยฐC using silicon bronze vacuum drawing. I have not yet felt confident enough with this resin to start casting silver. In conclusion, I suspect the conclusions will be that this is a resin that performs well when you're working with small, bulky items like a signet ring bracelet or a box pendant, but not a very good resin for complex delicate pieces and situations. when Ash can get stuck in narrow passages. I think it's a worthwhile resin when it was closer to $80, but now that the price has gone up $100 for 500ml I think I would consider moving my business elsewhere.
