Review on MidWest Homes Pets Ovation 36 Inch by Yasmine Sepulveda

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Always 5 stars but not so much now my dog is part of MR. Peabody and Hulk.

Strong and strong, easy to assemble, as if assembled by itself, hinged. I don't know what others are saying about up and down door with problems. I only have one door and it slides up and down easily and rests on top. No sharp edges as mentioned in other reviews. I have a 55 pound dog and it's hard for her not to run away. I think the door at the top makes it look more like an open door room than a cage for it. I put her bed in it and she just lies there alone. I only close the door when I go out and leave her at home. My dog has separation anxiety when I leave he will destroy the house and try to get out and find me. But the cage in my room with her bed, I think she feels good, safe alone there. love this cage. Don't think it's an easy trip, but don't plan to travel with it either. 5 stars across the board. Well my dog weighs about 50lbs and after three days of lifting the gate and pushing her body through it every time he got out, re-weld the door pinched and with the bungee cords going everywhere but the bottom hinge of the door attached she managed to push the bottom hinge up and snap the bottom bar from its weld giving her maybe 5 or 6 inches and slipping out. She bent the metal bars of a gate or door along with other parts. She has severe separation anxiety which gives her the strength to do what she does as the grid is strong. I think if you had a regular sized dog without the compulsive need to get out of the cage that would be great. I still can't believe she shoved her huge body maybe 5 inches down the door out of the door after breaking the weld on the bottom rail. It's a cage, it could be my dog. I also think they should have a latch to prevent the door from being lifted without a latch to prevent this. Well I tied all the corners together at the ends so they can't be pushed out or bent and I bought carabiners that screw together to attach to the door so it can't be pushed out or pulled out so bent it her and she is out. So if it works and is easy to fix, you won't hear from me or the cage again. 5. The metal bars are strong, no idea how she bent them to push them out of the bottom of the door screen. I'm sure no cage will work as this one was so strong and sturdy unlike the others and that's why I bought it. will know tomorrow. lol. Wish me luck against the Hulk Dog.
