However heavy box.

This is a strong, durable cage with a baffle that can be moved if necessary as the puppy grows. I bought this for my 8 week old Miniature Australian Shepherd. It was very tiny at first, but after 5 weeks I've already shifted the septum twice. I like the door because when the cage is open the door is out of the way and easy to open when needed. The reason I only gave 4 stars was because I had to spend several hours before letting my pup in. File sharp edges from ANY raw end of metal. I was…

Great concept but the welds broke when opening the side door

I like the overall design of this drawer with the retractable side door to save space. However, there are flaws in design and functionality. The end door works well and solidly. Hooray! I wish the rest of the box was just as well done! The long side door has design and durability issues. First, the side door slides up and pops out instead of staying on the open 'pathway'. Putting a dog in a 42" cage while holding/latching the door is no fun because it protrudes completely at the top or sides…

Absolutely senseless children's room

A completely unexpected puppy came to us during the holidays. Our 7 year old girls stopped using the boxes and their boxes that we kept were showing some wear and tear. So we took this crate as a new crate for the pup and as a space saver in the family room with folding gates. old wire boxes. We knew the new pup wasn't in the crate too much and he wasn't going to be happy, but the first time we left him in the crate alone for more than a few minutes, we came back to find that the bars were in…

VERY GOOD QUALITY AND FEATURES in this DOG CAGE

After much searching and homework to build a cage I have never had a cage like this on any other dog. I'm very glad I chose the Ovation Two. Midwest Homes Door/Training Cage for Pets. Quality, workmanship and design are first class. The hardest part of my decision was between 1 or 2 doors and then when I found this one with its center door facing up and out, which rests on the top of the drawer when open, that was the deciding factor in choosing this drawer. Ditto for the top door design of a…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Strong and strong, easy to assemble, as if assembled by itself, hinged. I don't know what others are saying about up and down door with problems. I only have one door and it slides up and down easily and rests on top. No sharp edges as mentioned in other reviews. I have a 55 pound dog and it's hard for her not to run away. I think the door at the top makes it look more like an open door room than a cage for it. I put her bed in it and she just lies there alone. I only close the door when I go…
