I like wide mouth spice jars and I used to use 4 ounce jars but I needed tight lids and smooth sides. It worked. I especially like that they stack much better than regular metal-topped cans. All my glasses arrived intact with no broken glass. There is a small film on it, probably from the packaging, but it is deleted immediately. My only complaint is that the lids don't close completely - the powders and herbs don't shake, but I don't think I would trust them upside down and filled with liquid.
