Amplifier shorted internally after 20 minutes at medium volume. The first symptom was a blown fuse and I replaced it with another to see how it would blow the new fuse when I was in contact with both terminals holding the fuse. I tested all ports with a multimeter. Determine that the amplifier is shorted internally. Immediately afterwards, BOSS contacted and spoke to a representative over the phone. He said they would honor the warranty and replace it with a new amp. BIG! After I made a warranty claim and received no response 4 weeks later. All in all, this is the perfect audio package I needed, but the sound quality is pretty poor combined with unreliable electronics.
