Review on 4 Reusable Coffee Capsule Discs for Nespresso Vertuoline and Vertuo Pods - Compatible with Different Capsule Sizes: 1.35, 2.70, 5.07, 7.77, and 14.00 fl oz by Michael Nastanovich

I've used them about half a dozen times and they've worked great. I have tried different grinds (fine and very fine) as well as the amount of coffee that can be filled in capsules with these discs. We love the Starbucks House Blend, but unfortunately while it's available in the original Nespresso range, it's not available in the Vertuo line of coffeemakers. So I tried the method of reusing Vertuo capsules with foil sealing and hand grinding Starbucks coffee and it was generally fine but took a long time between grinding, measuring, foil sealing etc. Bought these discs and so far so good . Used them about a dozen times and had no problems at all. And in fact, the easiest way I've found to get the right grind/amount for Vertuo pods is to simply add a K jar of Starbucks House Blend K (and a few others we've enjoyed since Keurig). open and pour in coffee grinder. Vertuo pod, press down with the back of the shovel, put in one of those washers, then I flip it over and press on the edge to make sure it's tight. In fact, the House Blend brewed cup is better than the Keurig it replaces, and the K-cup versions are half the price (or less) than several Vertuo Starbucks blends currently available. My wife is pleased that we don't have to waste our existing K cups and can use them when we need a mix that isn't currently available on Vertuo machines.
