Review on T1A 1995 2004 Exterior Replacement T1A 69220 35020 by Alton Walton

Not necessary, but I'll explain everything.

My doorknob was causing seizures for a while so I ordered it. I dismantled the door and realized that the problem was not in the handle at all, but in it. The locking bolt closest to the locking mechanism has fallen out and the pressed-in nut on the other side has come loose. Also due to the increased wear of the handle due to the loosening of the large rod clamp, it is heavily worn. There was nothing wrong with the original pen. The new handle is plastic and the old handle is chrome metal, so I decided to clean up and reuse the old one. I cleaned the door latch, re-greased and glued the pressed nut into the handle. Then I removed the new clip from the new handle and attached it to the old one. I lubricated the bolts with Loctite so they might not fall apart after another 325,000 miles. It took about an hour to disassemble and reassemble everything. The door works great and I will keep the new handle in case of an emergency. It's built really cheaply compared to the original bot and can last for a while if needed.
