Review on Dorman 973-508 HVAC Blower Motor Resistor Kit for Multiple Compatible Models by Larry Morris

This part will not fit my 2007 Chevrolet Impala LT. I paid extra for an OEM style "Direct Replacement for the Right Fit Every Time" part and it didn't fit. And he had a curved fin. In the picture below you can see two resistors side by side. The top is the part that was sent to me. The one below is the original part that was in the car. Pins go through the large holes to align and hold it in place. The small holes are where the screws go. As you can see in the picture, none of the four holes on either side are big enough or aligned enough to fit under the pins. Unfortunately, I didn't find out about this until after I disassembled the underside of the dashboard in upstate New York in the middle of winter.
