Review on Snappy Self Centering Drill Bit Guide Cutting Tools by Josh Tadder

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Spring has given up the ghost after a few years.

Snappy 9/64" Self Centering Drill When my Snappy drill was new it was pretty good. However, after a few years of use, the spring shrank to the point where the tool was useless.(When the spring is cocked it keeps the drill's slide sleeve firmly pressed into the workpiece and the drill is centered.) I disassembled the tool and stretched the spring but it compressed again almost immediately replaced this one - SE Vick Tool Company (#9 (9/64) Hex Drive VIX-Bit Self Centering Hinge Bit Snappy Adapter through a Self Centering Hinge Bit) is the top brand in self centering bits and has a strong, durable spring based on the Specifications of my other self-centering SE Vick bits.

Pros
  • Tools and Household Items
Cons
  • So far so good
