Lightweight easy to handle kayak

Purchasing this kayak was our first step into the world of inflatable kayaks. This is a very stable, well designed kayak. It goes well with a large skeg. I would suggest a longer paddle, at least 230cm. Legroom is a bit tight in the front but there is still room to stow something small. The rear storage is large enough for a pump and a medium-sized dry bag. The only problem I noticed was the position of the velcro straps to attach the paddle. They need to be moved and laid out further, as they are often touched by the oar and your hand when rowing. Another problem is using two sizes of Boston valves. All three valves (two hoses and the bottom) must be the same size, so only one size pump nozzle is needed to inflate the kayak. The two attachments that came with it don't fit. The manufacturer does not supply paddles or pumps. The cover for the inflated floor is very convenient. Anyone over 5ft 8in will find this kayak too short. This 21-pound kayak is easy to carry to the launch pad when inflated. The stern and aft deck covers as well as the cockpit ring protect you from moisture to a large extent. Feet get warm under the blanket during a long drive. On the second day I swam 6 miles very comfortably. The rear deck also has zip access. Velcro straps on the floor cover allow the seat to be attached to multiple locations in the cab. The seat has a 1 1/2 inch cushion and support straps that allow you to control the angle of the backrest. This is a low pressure kayak so a simple hand pump can inflate the kayak in 5-6 minutes.
