Review on 🌞 Uvex 10350 Superior Sun, Wind & Dust Goggles by Kevin Apriando

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Quirky style but functional and cool

Bought to use with an old vintage bike and half a helmet. At first it seemed they might be too big (as they stick out a bit) but they look very nice with a helmet. I like that my glasses fit in the glasses. They are comfortable, durable and close well. I also like that BOTH lenses are made from thicker Class 4 ballistic polycarbonate, which seems to hold up very well against pebbles or small road projectiles. The price is great considering you get two ballistic lenses. Some mention that lenses can "scratch easily". The packaging says they are easier to scratch than glass. They're polycarbonate, not glass, so that's to be expected; but that doesn't mean they scratch easily with good care. They also don't break like glass. It's a worthy compromise. Considering I'm repurposing something for battlefield use that has served its purpose admirably for decades, I'm glad I got a good alternative at a reasonable price. In this context, to denounce their design would be like blaming a combat knife for being no better than a butter knife. I am very happy with the purchase.
