Easy installation, my original starter was replaced with this one after 21 years of service. The original still worked, but took a long time to spin before it could launch. The certificate shows a maximum current of 396 amps and the test at maximum power was 363 amps so I replaced the starter cord with a 2 gauge weld wire with soldered tips. Should have been more suitable with 1 gauge but that's all I had on hand. I will change it later. We also recommend replacing the engine ground with sensor 1. Replacement in less than 30 minutes: 13mm positive spade, 14mm bottom stud and what appears to be a 15mm top stud. Before doing any work, of course, disconnect the negative pole. I've seen other reviews of starters failing shortly after installation, don't know all the reasons or details, but higher amperage requires larger wires. Standard starter ropes are 6 gauge, you definitely want to avoid fire. Definitely quick start. I test drove the engine and it starts right up! I will update any issues as needed.
