If you've ever had a pair of fleece socks that are tailored to your foot, like those from LL Bean or Lands End, you probably won't like these fleece socks. They have a tubular shape and the thicker fleece material means the shape doesn't conform well to your foot, so the material is snug in the heel and bulky and flexible in the forefoot. Overall quality is good. although the fleece is a bit thinner than I expected and the size is smaller than the size chart says. I wear a women's size 9 and bought a medium size meant for women's sizes 9.5-11.5 because I thought I could wear it over another pair of socks. However, it hardly fits the way it is. The size of your calves can make an even bigger difference. Also, if you have small feet but large calves, go up a size or two.
