Review on π‘οΈ Escali AHC1: NSF Certified Candy/Deep Fry/Confection Thermometer with Extra Dial - 5.5" Probe by Jean Ohm
This thermometer needs calibration
When I received it I tested it with boiling water and found that it was at least 10 degrees above normal! The good thing is that it's easy to calibrate by turning the nut on the stem with a 3/8" wrench. The quality is actually good and easy to read. And according to the package insert, it is said to be dishwasher safe. I haven't put it in the dishwasher yet, but if it is, that's a plus.
