I first bought the bluetooth version which was said to have a range of 150ft while sitting on my couch out front, 20ft removed from bluetooth model that was leaking. My grill so I sent it back. First, this Wi-Fi thermometer was amazing! You can set the alerts low and this makes a loud noise on my iPhone and Apple Watch. This was a critical feature for me as I have an old house and if someone turns on some appliances while the grill is running the switch can sometimes burn out. You can also create a good timeline to see how your food was cooked overnight to see if there were any dips or problems. Great machine worth $100. Inkbird then updated the app and removed the chart and warnings. Notifications now only work when you have the app open and your phone is on. There are no more notifications. And graphics, no data at all. No history of the chef, nothing. It costs about $50 for me, so the price is too high if they don't fix the problem. I contacted them via app and email and they didn't reply so I don't expect a solution.
