The air intake installation went smoothly and according to plan, but when I tried to close the hood it became clear that the air intake was too high. I had to remove the rubber grommet at the top of the box and also remove the hood trim for a nice mess. Now the hood closes properly, but when closed it barely releases the hood. I also really like its performance and sound. Has a slight whistle and lets the engine breathe much better. For the price I would probably buy again.
