They fit my 2002 Gen 1 Tundra perfectly. You just pull the old dials straight out and put these in. They are lined with a square post. So yeah, just pull out the old ones and pop these in, nothing else. If you can't perform this setup, you should probably wear a helmet the entire time without injuring yourself.
