I used it to install LED lights on the front of a golf cart. I installed it upside down to mount the headlights. It worked great for the purpose I bought it for. It is in no way a pusher or help for any effects. It's behind my front wheel, so my tires are going to hit a little in front of that bar or the headlights. Unless, of course, it's a pole and I hit it dead center, which I try to avoid. This looks nice and is a good way to mount a small light bar. I only have a 20" pole and 2-8" lights. I do not recommend for true off-road and off-road use.
